Brandon concentrates his practice in civil litigation, focused in the areas of banking, real estate and commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels. His clients include financial institutions, title insurers, real estate companies, closely held businesses, tax exempt organizations and individuals. He also represents health care providers in the defense of medical malpractice claims. Prior to joining RFBN, Brandon served as a prosecutor in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted felony cases in the trial courts, including a murder case that resulted in a guilty verdict, and also handled appeals.

Second-chaired successful defense of hospital and four of its physicians in wrongful death suit seeking $6.5 million
Second-chaired defense of property owner in ejection action resulting in finding in favor of all defendants
Defended Chicagoland area bank that prevailed before the trial court and the First District of the Illinois Appellate Court in suit alleging bank unlawfully processed small estate affidavit under Probate Act
Represented community bank in the First District of the Illinois Appellate Court when it dismissed borrowers’ appeal in mortgage foreclosure action contesting service of process
